ISLE OF MAN STEAM PACKET SHIPS PHOTO GALLERY

The KING ORRY (4) was the first new vessel built for the Isle of Man Steam Packet

Company after the Second World War, and entered service on 18th April 1946.

This gallery contains upwards of 300 photographs of the ships of the Isle of Man Steam Packet Company from 1946.

Credit where credit is due ....

The vast majority of these photographs are from the John Shepherd Collection, which has been built up over almost sixty years. This collection also includes the Raymond Brandreth Collection. Many Steam Packet enthusiasts will remember Raymond, who died in 2002.

The Internet is also full of photographs of Steam Packet ships, the majority on sites such as 'Google Images' and 'Flickr'. If one of your photographs appears on this site please get in touch with me (see 'Introduction' page), and I can then give you the credit, or remove the photograph from the site.
